Improving Mental Health Services

  • Advocated for 4–6 counselling sessions, with more available if needed
  • Qualified to deliver Wellbeing Skills for Student Leaders workshops and delivered multiple sessions
  • Promoted student wellbeing activities, especially during Wobble Week
  • Hosted mindful sessions (pottery, colouring, bracelet making, sip & paint, etc.)
  • Hosted a Dodgeball Tournament for Dyslexia Awareness Day, raising £400
  • Introduced STEP system for better student progress tracking

  • Hosted faculty socials during Induction Week and Reconnect Week
  • Organised first-ever Christmas faculty socials before semester 2 ended
  • Encouraged Subject Chairs to attend socials to gather feedback
  • Planning an end-of-year faculty social for all cohorts

Ensuring Fair Workloads

  • Working on guaranteed EC policy improvements and clearer deadlines
  • Ensured deadlines avoid clashes with academic commitments
  • Supported students with learning needs and non-native English speakers

  • Hosting AI workshops during Smart Study Week
