About the organisation

Your Voice in Health and Social Care (YVHSC) is an independent organisation that gives people a voice to improve and shape services and help them get the best out of health and social care provision.

YVHSC specialises in providing Health and Care services that offer effective engagement and involvement that impacts on community wellbeing and development. Using our expertise we involve people in ways that are both efficient and inclusive, and so can maximise the impact of our engagement.

What you'll be doing

Volunteers play a crucial role in helping to ensure that Your Voice in Health and Social Care can raise the profile of issues that matter when it comes to improving our health and social care services.

As a YVHSC Volunteer, you can undertake as much or as little as you like from a range of specific roles. Volunteering your time should not be taxing but rewarding to benefit you and the wider community. Times can be flexible to work around you and the commitment needed may vary for different volunteering roles.

Roles include:

• Healthwatch advisory committee member

• Community engagement volunteer

• Data, evidence, and insight volunteer

• Enter and View authorised representative

• Website support volunteer

• Marketing and communications volunteer

• Signposting and information volunteer

• Community research volunteer
