Start a new society 🎉
Here’s how you can set up your very own society!
Every Society requires at least a President and Treasurer on the committee and a minimum of 4 members (4 excluding committee, 6 total with committee minimum)
- Complete the New Society Proposal Form
- Your Student Life President decides on society approval
- Meet with the SMSU team to find out how Your SU can support you
- Fill in the Your Societies Affiliation Form
- Attend Society Training

Adopt a Society 🤲
Your Societies are looking for a new committee!
Do you fancy adopting a society? Then get in touch! If you want to build your leadership skills, plan awesome activities and have fun while doing it – we want to hear from you!
