Strawberry Hill House & Garden, created by Horace Walpole in the 18th century, has been open to visitors for over 250 years. This extraordinary building is internationally famous as Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture and home to an increasingly important collection of paintings and objects.
If you have an interest in Strawberry Hill House and the work that we do then volunteering can be a fun and rewarding way to get involved. We have a team of 200 indispensable volunteers and a range of opportunities available to suit your schedule and area of interest. Opportunities include being a room steward, education volunteer, office volunteer, garden volunteer and conservation and maintenence volunteer.
