Category: Students Union Petition
Caitlin did raise this point alongside the SSR Discount increase, however, unfortunately, this will not be possible.
The petition for SR discount to increase was made in the academic year of 2022/23 and was passed. Now in the year acadmic year of 2023 and year of 2024, this has been agreed by many parties.
Many students face finanical issues due to the current economic climate and SR are no execption. The NEW discount prices that have been agreed reflect the inflation prices of TODAY. This would help with the conclusion that the SR in their roles this year should also enjoy these new changes as they helped start and sign the petition and contiune to carry out this important university role.
